Thanksgiving Trophies

My friend John is from the Azores.  This is his traditional Portuguese style turkey.  Cooked in butter, wine and with lots of Linguisa sausage.  He creates a very flavorful and moist turkey that unfortunately, leaves very few leftovers.

Of course, there was pie.  Huckleberry, apple and two pumpkin.

Stuffing, green bean casserole, linguisa sausage, marshmellowed sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes and gravy with the turkey.   The food is always wonderful but the real treat is sitting around a table warmed with good friends and family.
