The Keystone XL pipeline decision will show whether President Obama is serious about climate change or not. An approval of the pipeline is not only "game over for the environment", it will be game over for Organizing For America.
Who will back President Obama's agenda if he begins his second term with an approval of the Keystone XL Pipeline that will increase our dependence on fossil fuels, set the stage for some of the worst oil spills in our nations history and dramatically increase US carbon emissions, similar to adding 6 million cars to our nations highways. We need green energy production; wind and solar including an updated modern electrical grid that can move that green energy. A 1700 mile long pipeline carrying the dirtiest crude ever mined and processed with a terrible environmental footprint is not the way to protect "our children and future generations"
