Sound Judgement

Senator Inhofe is opposing Chuck Hagels nomination as defense secretary.


Senator James Inhofe:

―His record demonstrates what I view as a lack of sound judgment and steadfast support for
policies that diminish U.S. power and influence throughout the world, as well as a recent trend of policy reversals that seem based on political expediency rather than core beliefs.

 Its strange to see Senator Inhofe deplore Chuck Hagel's "sound judgement".  Senator Inhofe believes that Climate Change is a hoax stating:

Well actually the Genesis 8:22 that I use in there is that “as long as the earth remains there will be springtime and harvest, cold and heat, winter and summer, day and night.” My point is, God’s still up there. The arrogance of people to think that we, human beings, would be able to change what He is doing in the climate is to me outrageous.

The senator refuting thousands of scientists and copious peer reviewed studies with a statement written 3000 years ago by a nomadic sheepherder is accusing Chuck Hagel of lacking sound judgement?
