Mitt Romney's legal advisor is Robert Bork. A one time nominee to the supreme court, who failed to make it to the bench for reasons that will immediately become clear. In a recent interview with Newsweek, Robert Bork said this:
Women are a majority of the population now—a majority in university classrooms and a majority in all kinds of contexts. It seems to me silly to say, ‘Gee, they’re discriminated against and we need to do something about it.’ They aren’t discriminated against anymore.”Mitt Romney's choice for legal adviser believes that women no longer suffer discrimination. That would be news to the millions of American women who only earn 77 cents on the dollar that a man receives for the same work. Republican legislatures all across the country limiting women's access to reproductive healthcare is not discrimination? Republican legislatures deciding what women should hear and listen to in doctor's offices is not discrimination? A vote for Mitt Romney is a vote for more voices like Robert Bork on the supreme court.
