These 23 Republican Senators Want to Take Away Women's Birth Control

What is the Blunt Amendment?
The Blunt Amendment would allow employers, to opt out of health care coverage for anything they have "moral objections" to or against their "religious beliefs".
So your boss gets to decide if your birth control is covered on your medical insurance.
Who created the Blunt Amendment?
Roy  Blunt the republican senator from Missouri and one time birther introduced this amendment to a transportation bill and it quickly gathered 23 republican co-sponsors including minority leader Mitch  McConnell.
Why was this amendment introduced?
Blunt argues that he introduced the amendment to protect freedom of religion.  It is noteworthy not a single one of these senators spoke out in defense of religious freedom when the "ground zero mosque", debate was raging.   Mainly the republicans think they can cause some embarrassment for President Obama by using Women's health care as a political football.  Ladies, tired of being kicked around by the republicans?  Here is the list of republican Co-sponsors to the Blunt Amendment.  In case your wondering Mitt Romney is in favor of the Blunt Amendment.

These Republican Senators want your boss to decide if you get birth control covered by your health insurance.  Please note, none of this would be happening if the nation had a single payer health plan.
