The 2012 British Wildlife Photography Awards were announced and what an incredible collection of beautiful photographs. Winners in the 12 categories can be seen here. This stunning swan portrait didn't win but was "highly commendable" among the thousands of entries. I found those fluffy white wings against the blue sky simply gorgeous.
