Tasty easy fruit dessert

Unfortunately, I can't remember where this recipe came from.
  •  1 8 oz. pkg cream cheese
  • 3/4 cup whipping cream
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • dash of vanilla
  • dash of fresh lemon juice
Beat the room temperature cream cheese until smooth, add powdered sugar, vanilla and lemon juice.  Beat until smooth and creamy.  Add the whipped whip cream and mix just till blended.  Then just layer whatever fruit you have with layers of the whipped topping and dollop with a little whipping cream.  Here we have fresh sliced strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, alternated with the cream cheese mix, topped with fresh plum sauce and then whipping cream.  For the plum sauce, 4 plums, (I used red and black) pitted and roughly chopped with 1/2 cup sugar (adjust to taste).  Gently simmer the plums and sugar until it thickens and takes on a clear deep reddish orange color.  Simple to make and very tasty.  It's not necessary to peel the plums, the skins just dissolve into the sauce.   We made 6, was lucky to get a photo of this one, they went fast.
