On Sunday's Meet the Press Debate Romney said:
There is no truth in Mitt Romney's statement. Between 90 and 99% of federal aid administrated by "Washington government bureaucrats" reaches its intended target. Its impossible to have a government program that delivers 100% efficiently, but 90-99% is very good and I'm proud of those government workers doing a good job supporting our social safety net while getting lambasted by silver spoon fed republicans."You have massive overhead, with government bureaucrats in Washington administering all these programs, [with] very little of the money that’s actually needed by those that really need help, those that can’t care for themselves, actually reaches them,"
