This morning on Fox, former VP and torturer-in-chief Dick Cheny said in relation to torture (he pretends their enhanced interrogation techniques):"the most important steps that kept us safe for 7 years." That's like the Zeppelin Company saying: "We kept the passengers safe on the Hindenburg for a full year."
I really like what Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson said on the Rachel Maddow Show about Dick Cheney and his 7+ years:
You notice that Dick Cheney always says ‘7 1/2 years,”" Wilkerson told Maddow. “That’s because he has the honor of being — or the dishonor of being — the man on whose watch 3000 Americans died. More Americans died from a terrorist attack under Dick Cheney’s leadership, if you will, than any other president in our history.”
Hey,Dick. Remember that whole"Bin Laden Determined to Attack U.S" memo? How about you and Bush's cool guy response to that threat:"Okay, now you've covered your ass."
Dick also belittled President Obama's success in killing Bin Laden. What's the big deal about sending the U.S. Navy Seals to shoot Osama Bin Laden in the face? This from the man who personally, has shot people in the face.
Colonel Wilkerson has also said: "let me waterboard Donald Rumsfeld and then we'll see if he says its torture or not." I'm sure the Colonel would take time out to do both Dick and Donald.
Liz Cheney, whose only claim to fame is, her daddy Dick invited her to "take your kid to work day" on torture day at the White House, was also on TV this weekend. She said a lot of stuff that we have no record of because no one cares what Liz Cheney thinks.
