The Republicons want to destroy MediCare and Social Security,
here is their latest plan.  Instead of raising revenues or defining specific cuts to programs , its a plan that mandates  "generic spending cuts".  That just means those without any political clout get their benefits cut:  the poor, the retired, women and minorities.  We need to raise revenues not cut the social safety net.
