Stop the Republican "Dirty Water" Amendment

For years the Clean Water Act has protected our streams, lakes and wetlands from pollution.  But Senators John Barrasso (R-WY) and Dean Heller (R-NV) have attached an amendment  that would eliminate pollution limits for lakes, brooks, streams and wetlands across America.
Specifically, the amendment would block a long-overdue Environmental Protection Agency and Army Corps of Engineers guidance to restore decades of Clean Water Act safeguards to 59 percent of our nation’s streams and headwaters and 20 million acres of wetlands.
There is no doubt corporations will make more money when they can pollute our nations waters freely.  If you think clean pure water is more important than huge CEO bonuses, contact your Senators here.
