I'm an iced tea addict, consuming this soul nourishing beverage all 12 months of the year. We are on our 4th or 5th Mr. Coffee Iced Tea maker. We don't put ice in our pot when brewing the tea, that just seems silly. We add water to the ice line, and when the pot is done brewing, we put ice in our glass. I used to purchase much of my tea from a local East Indian market. However, a few years ago they quit carrying ceylon tea. For the last year or so, we have been buying our tea from Amazon. You wouldn't think that a coffee company would carry great tea, but Coffee Bean Direct does. The tea is beautiful, and always has incredible aroma and a clean taste. My wife also enjoys their coffee and we have ordered it in 5 pound bags. For a pot of Iced tea, my current favorite blend is 1 T of orange pekoe and 2 T of Ceylon.
