Fried Rice


Fried Rice

3 cups cold cooked rice
3 green onions chopped
1/4 pound barbecued pork diced
2 slices of bacon sliced in 1/4" strips
1/2 cup frozen peas (thawed)
1/2 yellow onion finely chopped
2 garlic chopped garlic cloves
1 egg
2 T grapeseed oil

 Add the oil to a wok, on medium low heat cook the bacon until most of the fat is rendered out, add the onions and stir fry a minute or two, add the egg mix well, turn heat to high, then add the rice, barbecued pork, green onions and garlic cloves.  Break up the rice clumps, stir fry briskly, when most of the rice lumps are gone add the peas cook another minute then season with salt and pepper.
