Happy Friday

Credit: NASA/ESA Large Image Here
This 2006 Hubble image displays the open star cluster Pismis 24 within the large diffuse nebula NGC 6357l.  Pismis 24 is located 7000 light years from Earth in the constellation Scorpius.  Hidden in the dense clouds of gas are many hot young new stars and proto-stars.

This video from the European Space zooms in on the constellation Scorpius,  finally switching to infrared when zoomed in on the nebula.
