Using innovative, state-of-the-art audio indexing and speech recognition technology from Microsoft Research, ScienceCinema allows users to search for specific words and phrases spoken within video files. Simply enter a term in the box and start exploring!
Astronomy and Astrophysics has always intrigued and fascinated me.  This new site, compliments of the US government brings great lectures from scientists direct to your living room or anyplace with internet access.
I entered dark matter and found 30 lectures from Cern and 67 from DOE.  The search took rather a long time but was very fruitful delivering months of great science lectures.  The first video,  The Dark Side of the Universe: Dark Matter and Dark Energy from CERN kept stalling in Firefox.  The solution was to save the file, wait for the download to finish and open it with Firefox for uninterrupted playing.  Check out Science Cinema!
