Don't Let Catholic Bishops Deny Women No-Cost Birth Control

The latest polls show that 98% of sexually active catholic women use birth control.  The pope of course is against all forms of birth control and he is largely ignored in this country.  But the US Conference of Catholic Bishops is pressuring President Obama to enforce the Pope's edicts against birth control by denying women who work for catholic universities and hospitals no cost birth control under their health plans.   If you think Catholic Bishops have no business deciding what women pay for birth control, please send a message to President Obama to Support No-Cost Birth control for ALL women, through Naral Pro-Choice America

From Naral Pro-Choice America:

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) adopted medical experts’ recommendation that newly issued insurance plans cover birth control without copays. Women will feel the magnitude of this decision every time they go to the pharmacy counter and pick up their birth control without paying a copay.
This is such a tremendous leap forward. However, women who work for a religious institution, like a Catholic hospital or university that opposes birth control, are at risk of not being included under this new policy.
Anti-birth-control forces, including the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, are leading the fight. They have launched a massive campaign to allow religious employers to opt out of the new requirement.
Shouldn’t women who happen to work at a Catholic hospital or religious college have the same access to affordable birth control that millions of other women soon will have?
It’s up to us to stand up for all women who use birth control. Send a message to the White House now to say that all women should have access to contraceptive coverage, regardless of their employer.
