Rep. Kathy Hochul (D-NY) sworn in today

Rep. Kathy Hochul (D-NY) was sworn in today.  Rep. Hochul is only the fourth democrat to be elected in that district in about 150 years.  Pro-Choice Rep. Hochul replaced anti-choice Rep. Chris Lee, (R,NY) when the family values candidate was caught showing his "family values" on camera and sending them to women on Craigslist.  It's wonderful to have another sane person in the house to fight against Speaker Boehner's war on women.

New York voters made a clear stand against Speaker Boehner's extreme and divisive anti-choice agenda by sending Kathy Hochul, a champion of the fundamental values of freedom and privacy, to Congress. Rep.-elect Hochul represents the district's mainstream views, and she knows that voters want Washington focusing on creating jobs and protecting Medicare, not attacking a woman's right to choose.
Congratulations Rep. Hochul (D-NY)
