Our entire neighborhood went dark this evening. During the power outage, I made an apple pie by candle light and flashlight. Since we have a gas stove, cooking it would prove to be no problem, or so I thought. After the pie was finished, it dawned on me that I had no idea how to manually light the gas stove. Fortunately, the power was only off for about 90 minutes.
